VNA Registration

It is a requirement that all players and coaches are registered with Netball Victoria before the season begins. The registration cost is covered by the club.

Working With Children Checks

WDNA, Netball Victoria and the Victorian State Government all require that all Coaches, Team Managers and Committee Members have up to date Working with Children Checks.

Forfeits

The Club / Team giving the walkover must advise WDNA no later than 19:30 on the Thursday before the game on Saturday. After that, penalties will apply. You can advise WDNA by filling out a form at https://www.wdna.com.au/walkovers/. Please also notify the club at malvernnetballclub@gmail.com 

Fill-in Players

Please contact the relevant coaches and Team Managers from other Malvern teams to source fill-in players. You can play a maximum of three fill-in players per match. They must come from a team from a lower grade and cannot be from another WDNA club.

• Players are allowed to play in a higher grade, but only three games in Autumn, and four games in Spring.

• All fill-in players must be added to the team they are filling in for by following the “Borrow a Player” steps in NetballConnect.

• No player may play in more than one match in the same section, on the same day.

• Players may participate in a maximum of two matches per day, as long as the team only has a maximum of three (3) players as fill-ins in any one match.

• If a club has more than one team in a grade, the teams are treated as playing for separate clubs and the use of players as fill-ins between the two teams is not permitted.

• If a player has a Bye, they are able to play two fill-in games in the same day.
