Player Information

The Malvern Netball Club has around 20 teams entered in the Waverley District Netball Association (WDNA) Saturday competition. 

• All games are played at the WDNA courts on the corner of Cassinia Ave and Farmer Street, in Ashwood. 

• There are two seasons played each year - an Autumn and Spring season. 

• The competition is predominantly made up of school-based clubs and independent teams. 

• The association runs sections for Under 9 (modified rules), Under 11, Juniors, and Open.

• WDNA uses Netball Connect for its registration, fixtures, record keeping and scoring. All coaches, team managers and parents will need to download the app so they can score the game and enter the players who are playing in the game. An explanation of what is required can be found here.

• Training for primary aged students is held before school at Malvern Primary School based on year level. We also offer an afternoon training session for players who do not attend Malvern Primary School.
